SearchParty

Social search and collaboration tool to support social learning in synchronous environments.

Website

SearchParty is a collaboration tool to support social learning in synchronous environments. By providing a web-based tool for aggregating student activity as it occurs, students can both learn from each other, and teachers can better understand what is going on in the classroom. We observed 9 small classes using this tool to learn how to search, and we describe our observations and design lessons.
